Terry is a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teachers. Originally from Scotland, Terry has lived and worked in Kenya, Nigeria, Gabon, Russia, Oman, Malaysia and Tunisia. Terry has taught from Early Years to Secondary and has lectured on Early Years Courses. Terry was recently the Founding Principal of an International School in Tunisia and has held three primary headships. She also worked as Head of Primary and Deputy Principal of a large international school catering to students aged 3 to 18.
Terry has been delivering training, consultancy and conference workshops since 2011. She has taken part in accreditation teams and led school accreditations. Terry is currently an Associate Inspector with the KHDA in Dubai.
Terry is passionate about the importance of high quality early education and is committed to staying up to date with research and development in education. Terry’s current interests include learning more about the different approaches to the teaching of reading throughout the world and the impact emotional resilience has on learning.
